2016 AAU Gymnastics Age Group National Championships
Puma IL Viaggio (Italian Federation)
2016 MAAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships
During my time as a Sports Event Management Intern, I've had the opportunity to take the lead on three events that were taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports. My first event was the AAU Gymnastics National Championships that included over 1,600 girls/women athletes and 500 coaches. My second event was the Puma IL Viaggio featuring the Italian Federation soccer club. Puma, our Disney Soccer Sponsor, was holding this small, private event for the Italian Federation to hold a try-out for their team to acquire future players. The last event I managed was the MAAC Cross Country Championships. Twenty-two teams (11 men & 11 women) of Division I athletes traveled to Disney to become a MAAC Champion and one of those teams were ranked as top 5 in the country.

AMA (American Marketing Association) Regional Collegiate Conference 2014 2nd Place Finisher
My partner Sam and I, attended the Aurora University AMA (American Marketing Association) Regional Collegiate Conference in Aurora, Illinois. The theme of the conference was, “Make a Name for Yourself.” Over 400 students and faculty attended the event from over 35 different universities ranging from Illinois all the way out to Arizona. We competed in the Rich Harvest Farms Sports Promotion Competition against 20 different teams and came home with a certificate for second place. I gained valuable experience by competing and characteristics that cannot be learned in the classroom. I am grateful for the opportunity to better my skills with on hands activities like this.

PR Plan to create school spirit on campus
In Introduction to Public Relations, our final project was to create a public relations plan that could be implemented at any time. I choose to do mine on creating school spirit on campus because it was something I wanted to happen and worked for through the clubs I participated in. Through the statistics I found and ideas I came up with, many of these came to life when we implemented our own offcial student section called, the "Spillzone."
