Each day I wake up with the same set of goals and some new ones. To live my life to the fullest, do to the best of my abilities and remember, anything that might be small, can grow into something marvelous. As long as I am happy with what I have accomplished, I know that I have had a good day.
Moving forward, my name is Jenna Jesko and I am from a small village in Ohio that is surrounded by a cornfield, surprising, I know. I have stayed close to the area over the years but that does not limit me to the endless possibilities that are out there. For now, I have traveled outside the comfort zone to the sunshine state of Florida where I currently reside.
My hometown is Carey, Ohio where I was born and raised a Blue Devil. After graduating high school, I traveled 13 miles down the road to Findlay, Ohio. I graduated from the University of Findlay gaining my undergraduate degree in Sport and Event Management with a minor in Marketing. My older sister is an alumni of the university and really opened my eyes to what my Alma mater had to offer. Going to Findlay was easily one of the best decisions of my life because I have the best advisers, assistance and opportunities possible. They helped me reach my dreams of working for the "Happiest place on Earth" and move from Ohio to Florida right out of school. I'm currently working at Disney Sports as a Sport Event Manager, managing events with ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
On a more personal side, I enjoy amusement parks, concerts, festivals, sporting events, running and hanging out with my furbaby (my dog)! Being a young professional in the workforce, I am still growing and changing personally an professionally. I remind myself that even the smallest opportunities are big, you never know where they will get you some day. Walt Disney created the entire Disney company all because of a little mouse. I could only hope I will become that successful in my future.
